I have said many times before that its cold and wet and windy - today was just very, very much  more so.  The geese were not impressed - by the weather or by me

On the other hand there were plenty of opportunities for scavenging around in puddles.  Thats ok for the geese but we were much more  comfortable inside our cosy studio.  So much so that we had a very productive work day and I pretty much forgot to take any photos.  However I did want to say thank you for the donation of many funny little bits of knitting, I have added them to our baskets of flowers, they will make acorns, wasps, leaves and tiny flowers.

Last week we were given some beautiful variegated blue chenille.Mixed with some plain dark wool it made into the most luxurious looking flower.  Perfect for the centre front of the horse's chest.

There were some intrepid visitors despite the weather.  I guess that is because that the grounds of Montsalvat are beautiful in the rain, just as they are in the sun.

One of the advantages of having a residency at Montsalvat is the the extra opportunities and tomorrow afternoon we are looking forward to wandering across to  the Barn after lunch for a Red Chair talk by Mathew Quick.  Just love his paintings so it will be interesting to hear where he's coming from.
